Payments that won't go through on Yaga can usually be fixed by using the Yaga app or website directly, updating or reinstalling the app, or trying a different local payment method.
Make sure you use Yaga through the app or website
Sometimes you may have accidentally opened Yaga through Instagram or Facebook, which secretly opens it in the Instagram or Facebook in-app browser and limits your actions.
To avoid this, use the Yaga app, or open a new browser window (for example Chrome or Safari) and:
- Go to www.yaga.co.za
- Try to make your purchase
If you can't make a purchase on the app
Update the app, or delete it from your device, reinstall it, and try again.
If you can't make a purchase via web
There could be several reasons your payment isn't going through, such as a payment timeout due to delay, a bank issue, or a bad internet connection. Our best recommendation is to try again in a little while. You can also try making the purchase via the Yaga app or site and use a different payment method (EFT, OZOW, or credit card).
PS! For safety reasons, only local cards are allowed. If you're using a foreign bank card, this is why the payment is not going through. You cannot make purchases without a South African bank account.
