How Pargo integrated delivery works as a Seller
-
When adding an item, select Pargo Store-to-Store as a delivery method. You'll see options for package size based on weight. This is volumetric weight, which is calculated as the height of your package multiplied by width, multiplied by length, and then divided by 5000 — that is "(height x width x length) / 5000". The resulting number needs to be lower than the allowed weight for the selected package size.
An example calculation for volumetric weight: The size limit for Extra-Small package size is 2kg. An example calculation of volumetric weight for that would be: (15cm * 20cm * 30cm) / 5000 = 1.8kg. This is less than 2kg and can be sent. In this example we've used the package height as 15cm, width as 20cm, and length as 30cm. In your case the numbers for height, width, and length may differ, but when multiplied together and then divided by 5000, the result needs to be less than the package size limit you've selected.
- Wait until your item gets purchased (congrats!) and the Buyer has selected Pargo Store-to-Store as their preferred delivery method.
- Go to the bottom navigation bar, tap My Yaga, then My shop orders, then Details to view the Order Details of the purchased item.
- Select a Pargo Point to drop off the item.
- After selecting a Pargo Point, you'll receive a Pargo PIN code. This will be requested by the parcel handler at the Pargo Point. Note: the code is valid for 8 days only.
- Package your item securely inside a sealed box or bag and write the Pargo PIN code on it.
- Take the package to your selected Pargo Point and drop it off for delivery. Be prepared to show the Pargo PIN. At the Pargo Point:
- You do not need to pay for the delivery.
- You do not need to provide buyer details, such as address, phone number, or others.
- Once the item is dropped off, the status of the item in Yaga should automatically update to in-transit. Both you and the Buyer can view detailed delivery status updates by pressing the activated Tracking Number under the order details "Drop off point" view.
- Receive funds 🎉 Once the parcel has arrived at its destination Pargo Point, the Buyer will receive a Pargo PIN from Pargo to collect it. Once the Buyer has collected the parcel, they'll tap Item received on Yaga to release the funds to your Yaga wallet.
If you do not wish to use the integration
You can also ship the item without using the integration. This means the order won't go to 'Shipped' status, but the Buyer is still able to complete the order once received, and you'll receive the money for the item plus the delivery cost.
PS! Keep in mind that it's important to pack the items properly so they aren't damaged during shipping.
Note: if it is a bundle order, all items must be sent together in one parcel.
If the Buyer does not collect the parcel
If a Buyer doesn't collect the parcel in time and it gets returned to the Seller, then the Seller is eligible for compensation for the courier costs that have occurred. The Seller will be asked to provide proof of the incurred courier costs and proof that correct delivery information was used in the first place. The Seller will be reimbursed once they have received the parcel back, and this amount is charged from the Buyer's pending payment. The remaining amount is refunded to the Buyer.
If the Buyer wishes to return the parcel
Currently, Pargo is a send-only solution on Yaga, meaning it can only be used for sending items to Buyers and does not support returns. If the Buyer needs to return an item, another courier option should be used (e.g. the options available on Yaga).
⚠️ Important: Before shipping, please ensure your item is allowed to be shipped and complies with the courier's Terms & Conditions. Prohibited or restricted items may be delayed, returned, or refused. If you're unsure, please check the courier's prohibited items list or contact them directly.
