When a Buyer doesn't collect a parcel, it is either automatically sent back to you or returned once you book a return with the courier, and this article explains the return process for each courier company.
If the Buyer does not collect the parcel, it will either be automatically sent back to the Sender or returned once the Sender has booked a return with the courier. See the relevant courier below for details on the return process.
Paxi
When a Paxi parcel gets returned after the collection period is over, let us know once you've received the parcel back and we'll cancel the transaction so you can find a new Buyer.
Note: If you used your own funds for delivery, please also forward us the receipt for the refund.
The Courier Guy (former PUDO)
When the collection period expires with PUDO, they require another booking for the parcel to be returned to the Seller. Here's how the return process works:
- Double-check with The Courier Guy that the parcel is still available and the Buyer hasn't made any collection agreements with them.
- Create a new booking through your The Courier Guy account, following The Courier Guy's instructions. The return cost shouldn't exceed the amount the Buyer paid for the initial delivery.
- Share the new booking with The Courier Guy as well as Yaga so the return can be processed.
- Let us know once you've received your parcel back.
- We'll cancel the order and reimburse you for the return cost (up to the amount paid by the Buyer for the initial delivery). The rest of the money will be refunded to the Buyer.
Pargo
When a Pargo parcel gets returned after the collection period is over, let us know once you've received the parcel back and we'll cancel the transaction so you can find a new Buyer.
Note: If you used your own funds for delivery, please also forward us the receipt for the refund.
PostNet and Aramex
If a Buyer doesn't collect a PostNet or Aramex parcel in time and it gets returned to the Seller, the Seller should provide Yaga proof of any incurred courier costs. The Seller will be reimbursed once they have received the parcel back, and this amount is charged from the Buyer's pending payment. The remaining amount is refunded to the Buyer.
