If your Yaga account has been compromised, act quickly to secure the linked login you use to sign in, contact Yaga Support, and protect your account going forward.
If you suspect that someone has accessed your Yaga account without your permission, act quickly. Your prompt action helps protect your funds, your personal information, and other Yaga users.
Step 1 — Secure your linked login
Your Yaga account is linked to your Google, Facebook, or Apple ID account. The most important first step is to secure that account:
- Change the password of the email account you use to log in to Yaga.
- Sign out of all other devices using your provider's security settings (Google Account → Security; Apple ID → Devices; Facebook → Security and login).
- Enable two-factor authentication where available.
Step 2 — Contact Yaga Support immediately
Submit a request to Yaga Support and include:
- Your Yaga username
- The email address linked to your account
- What activity made you suspect the account was compromised (for example, unexpected orders, messages, or payout requests)
Note: While we look into your account, we may temporarily freeze your Yaga wallet to prevent any unauthorised payouts.
How to prevent account compromise
- Never share your login details with anyone, including anyone claiming to be from Yaga Support. Yaga Support will never ask for your password.
- Be cautious of phishing attempts — see our guide on recognising scam messages.
- Don't click on suspicious links sent via Yaga chat, and never enter your account details on a page reached through such a link.
- Use a strong, unique password for the email account linked to Yaga.
- Keep an eye on your Yaga wallet and message history — if anything looks unusual, report it.
