As a Buyer, you have the right to return an item to the Seller and get a refund if the item you received significantly differs from the photo or the item description.
Preconditions for returning an item
- Within 48 hours after receiving the item, you have informed the Seller via Yaga messages about your wish to return the item and explained the issue with it.
- You have not clicked the Item received button (the order is not completed).
- Payment for the purchase was done through Yaga.
How the returns process works
- Inform the Seller about your wish to return the item and the reason(s) for it.
- The Seller shares the return details with you via Yaga messages. Unless an alternative agreement is made, the item should be returned via the same delivery method used to ship the item in the first place, except in cases where the original method does not support returns (e.g. Pargo). In such cases, an alternative courier should be agreed upon. The Seller should share the same set of details for the return that were provided by the Buyer for delivery.
- Once you and the Seller have agreed on returning the item and the Seller has shared all the necessary details, ship the item within 72 hours, unless agreed otherwise. You arrange and pay for the return postage and share the parcel tracking number with the Seller via Yaga messages. It's not possible to book a return delivery via Yaga.
- The Seller receives the item and cancels the order.
- The money initially deposited by the Buyer (item's price, initial delivery fee, Buyer Protection Fee) is automatically refunded to the Buyer's Yaga wallet.
The Buyer and Seller may always agree on an alternative solution for returning the item or solving the matter (e.g. a discount).
If you can't reach an agreement
If the Buyer and the Seller fail to agree or are unable to get in contact with each other, then both sides may contact Yaga for assistance by submitting a request below. If necessary, Yaga will make additional inquiries to the Buyer and Seller to resolve the situation. If one of the parties does not respond to the inquiry within 48 hours, Yaga may make a decision in favour of the other party.
Important to know
- When it comes to sizing, we can only take into account whether the size advertised matches the size written on the label (= factory size). If the size matches, then the Seller is not obligated to accept the return. However, if the advertised size is different from what's written on the actual label, then the Buyer has the right to return the item.
- If the item doesn't fit or the Buyer just doesn't like it, then the Buyer can only return the item if the Seller agrees to a refund, or alternatively a mutual agreement could be made.
- The Buyer must return the item in the same condition in which it was received (i.e. the item should not be washed nor used).
- When the order collection is made directly from the Seller, the Buyer must inspect the item on the spot. Any issues with the item must be noted and confirmed at that time. Once the item has been accepted and collected, later complaints or return requests may not be considered.
- "No Returns/No Refunds" or "Return not possible" in the store descriptions has no basis, as it violates Yaga's Terms & Conditions. Therefore, the Buyer always has the right to return the item to the Seller under the conditions mentioned above.
- Items that are on our Prohibited Items List are not covered by our Seller protection. This means that the regular return policy may not apply to such orders.
