Shipping with Aramex means booking and paying for delivery directly via the courier, and this article explains how the Aramex delivery process works step by step.
Yaga has multiple integrated courier options that deliver nationwide. It is up to each Seller to decide which delivery method(s) they would like to enable for their shop.
With Aramex, the delivery must be booked and paid directly via the courier company. The delivery cost will be paid extra at checkout by the Buyer and will be released to the Seller along with the item price once the Buyer has completed the order.
How Aramex delivery works
- Go to your nearest Aramex point (see all locations on the Aramex website).
- Buy a sleeve. This will cost you R99.99.
- Fill out the Waybill online — visit storetodoor.aramex.co.za (no need to register an account):
- Click 'Create a shipment'.
- Important: Fill in the waybill number — this will link your digital waybill to your shipment. You'll find the waybill number on the Aramex sleeve.
- Complete the digital waybill information. Find the info under My Yaga → My shop orders → Details → Delivery from Yaga's navigation bar.
- Drop your parcel into an Aramex drop box.
- Log into Yaga and click the "Item shipped" button under the order to notify the Buyer that the order is on its way. We also recommend forwarding the parcel tracking number to the Buyer.
PS! It is important to pack the items properly so that they aren't damaged during shipping.
Note: If it is a bundle order, all items must be sent together in one parcel.
If the Buyer doesn't collect the parcel
If a Buyer doesn't collect the parcel in time and it gets returned to the Seller, the Seller is eligible for compensation for the courier costs incurred. The Seller will be asked to provide proof of the incurred courier costs and proof that correct delivery information was used in the first place. The Seller will be reimbursed once they have received the parcel back, and this amount is charged from the Buyer's pending payment. The remaining amount is refunded to the Buyer.
Before you ship
Before shipping, ensure your item is allowed to be shipped and complies with the courier's Terms & Conditions. Prohibited or restricted items may be delayed, returned, or refused. If you're unsure, check the courier's prohibited items list or contact them directly.
