Delivery on Yaga uses multiple integrated courier options that deliver nationwide, with the Buyer paying the delivery cost at checkout and the Seller shipping the item to the Buyer.
With The Courier Guy (former PUDO), Paxi and Pargo, the Seller can book a locker or receive a token/PIN directly via Yaga, whereas with Aramex and Postnet, the Seller must book the parcel directly with the courier. It is up to each Seller to decide which delivery method(s) they would like to enable for their shop. The delivery cost will be paid extra at checkout by the Buyer.
The delivery process
- When listing an item, the Seller selects their preferred shipping method(s) from the delivery options menu provided.
- The Buyer makes a purchase, chooses a suitable delivery option during checkout, and fills in all the necessary shipping information. The shipping cost is added to the item price at checkout.
- The Seller receives the delivery information with the order confirmation and uses it to ship the item to the Buyer and pay for the delivery. Detailed order information can be found under the bottom navigation bar → My Yaga → My shop orders.
- After shipping the item, the Seller taps the Item shipped button under the navigation bar → My Yaga → My shop orders.
- When the Buyer receives the item and is happy with it, they tap Item received under their My purchases view, and the money (which includes the money the Buyer paid for delivery) is automatically released to the Seller.
PS! The order status updates automatically to "Shipped" if the Seller ships the item via The Courier Guy, Paxi or Pargo integrated system available in Yaga.
PS! Keep in mind: It's important to pack the items properly so that they aren't damaged during shipping.
If the parcel isn't collected and gets returned
If a Buyer doesn't collect the parcel in time and it gets returned to the Seller, then the Seller is eligible for compensation for the courier costs that have occurred. The Seller will be asked to provide proof of the incurred courier costs and proof that correct delivery information was used in the first place. The Seller will be reimbursed once they have received the parcel back, and this amount is charged from the Buyer's pending payment. The remaining amount is refunded to the Buyer.
